Will My eTrike Fit?

The SD 32-65 has 32" × 65" inside platform dimensions. Because the folding ramp is located on one side of the carrier, the orientation of your eTrike can affect how well it fits.

The opposite side allows components such as baskets, headlights, and other parts to extend beyond the platform when appropriate. Some eTrikes may also fit better with the front wheel turned sideways.

Step 1 — Measure the Length:
Measure your eTrike from front to back. Begin at the front tire approximately 6" above the ground and measure to the furthest point on the trike. If the measurement is 65" or less, it fits lengthwise.

Step 2 — Turn the Front Wheel if Needed:
If your eTrike measures more than 65", turn the front wheel sideways. Measure from the furthest point on the front tire back to the rear axle. If this measurement is 65" or less, it fits. If it is longer, it will not fit safely according to the manufacturer's guidelines.

Step 3 — Measure the Width:
Measure from the outside of one tire to the outside of the opposite tire. Do not include axle bolts or fenders that extend beyond the tires. If the tire-to-tire width is 31½" or less, it fits within the rack.

The SD 32-65 is specifically designed for smaller and folding-style eTrikes. Compatible models depend on the individual trike's actual dimensions and weight, so always measure your eTrike before ordering.

2" Hitch Connection

The SD 32-65 is designed for a compatible 2" receiver hitch, making it suitable for use with compatible SUVs, vans, trucks, and sedans.

Important: Do not use hitch adapters. Always verify your vehicle and receiver hitch's tongue-weight capacity before installation and use.

Vehicle Overhang

The SD 32-65 has approximately 49" of vehicle overhang, measured from the rear of the vehicle to the furthest point on the rack.

Keep the additional length in mind when turning, backing up, maneuvering, and parking. Local requirements may also require additional markers such as flags, so check applicable regulations before traveling.
