NJ E-Bike Law Day 278: Emptying Our Showroom

October 25, 2026 — Day 278. This is a difficult milestone for Jesse's e-Rides: we're emptying our showroom as we transition away from the larger space in Shrewsbury.

As we explained in our Day 274 update, the slowdown in e-bike sales and the challenges surrounding New Jersey's e-bike law have forced us to rethink the size and setup of our shop. We've been moving bikes, trikes, displays, and equipment out of the showroom while working toward a smaller, more sustainable operation.

Jesse's e-Rides began because of the freedom an electric tricycle gave our son Jesse. Making electric mobility accessible—especially to riders and families who rely on it—remains important to us as we navigate these changes.
