This Is Our WHY: Miriam’s Journey to Freedom on Three Wheels

At Jesse’s e-Rides, every ride we offer is about more than just transportation—it’s about inclusion, freedom, and joy. Recently, we had the honor of meeting Miriam, whose story beautifully reminds us why we do what we do.

Miriam is 30 years old and stands proudly at just 4 feet tall. She lives with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that brings developmental delays and physical challenges. But despite it all, she moves through the world with resilience, light, and joy that’s hard to describe.

For years, her mom searched for a trike that could give Miriam the independence, safety, and comfort she deserves. Most options just didn’t work—too unstable, too tall, or too overwhelming. But they never gave up hope.

A few weeks ago at the North Jersey Transition Fair, Miriam’s Support Coordinator stopped by our booth and shared her story. That simple conversation set everything in motion. Not long after, Miriam came in for her first test ride on the Meet One Breeze Pro.

The moment she turned the handlebars and began pedaling, her face lit up with the biggest smile. It wasn’t just a fun ride—it was a milestone. Pride, freedom, and pure inclusion all wrapped into one beautiful experience.

To make sure the Breeze Pro fits Miriam just right, we’re customizing it with specially designed stirrups for added support, and swapping the seat for one with armrests and extra stability. Her ride will be tailored to her—safe, supportive, and fun.

These are the moments that fuel us. When someone finds a way to move through the world more freely—on their own terms—it’s everything. We believe everyone deserves that kind of joy.

We’re incredibly grateful to Miriam’s mom and Support Coordinator for trusting us to help her find the right fit. Her journey reminds us that access to safe, inclusive mobility isn’t a luxury, it’s a right.
