The NJ E-Bike Law: Day 33 – Snow Day, But the Fight Continues
Share
A major blizzard is moving through New Jersey, and like many small businesses, we’re temporarily closing our doors due to the snow.
Today is Sunday, February 22, 2026. We’ve updated our website, djusted our Google listing, and posted notices on the shop doors to let customers know we’ll be closed today and tomorrow.
Weather like this reminds you how quickly plans can change.
Small Business Reality
When you run a small business, closures aren’t just about locking a door. They affect scheduled test rides, service appointments, and walk-in customers who were planning to stop by.
We’re hoping to reopen Tuesday, but with a storm of this size, it’s hard to predict exactly how things will unfold.
February in New Jersey can be unpredictable — and this year, so has everything else.
Snow Doesn’t Stop the Conversation
Even though the shop is closed for safety, the conversation around the New Jersey e-bike law continues.
Advocacy doesn’t pause for weather.
We are still in a critical period. We are still within the regulatory freeze window. We are still pushing for clarity, fairness, and amendments that make sense for riders, small businesses, and disabled individuals.
Resilience Matters
Storms pass.
Challenges shift.
But the commitment to protecting accessible mobility and small business stability remains.
We may be closed for snow, but we are not stepping back.
There is still work to do.
