The NJ E-Bike Law: Day 120 – Jesse Is Rallying for a Better E-Bike Law
Share
Today marks Day 120 since the New Jersey e-bike law was signed.
Some advocacy moments are political.
Others are deeply personal.
Day 120 is personal.
This Thursday, riders, advocates, families, and supporters will gather in Trenton for the Ride & Rally for a Better NJ E-Bike Law.
And Jesse will be there.
Why This Matters
For many people, this debate sounds like policy.
Licensing. Registration. Insurance. Definitions.
But for families who depend on low-speed e-bikes and e-trikes, the issue is much more personal.
It is about mobility, independence, and freedom.
Jesse depends on his e-trike.
For riders with disabilities and others who rely on adaptive mobility, access to these devices is not a luxury. It is part of everyday life.
Ride & Rally for a Better Law
The rally in Trenton is an opportunity for lawmakers to see the real people affected by this law.
Disabled riders, seniors, commuters, caregivers, and families will come together to make one thing clear:
Real people are being affected, and the law needs to work better.
Participants will gather at Mill Hill Park before riding to the State Capitol, where speakers, advocates, press, and supporters will gather.
A Chance To Be Seen
Visibility matters.
Sometimes change starts when lawmakers stop seeing statistics and start seeing people.
The hope behind this rally is simple: help decision-makers understand exactly who has been affected and why fair changes matter.
And yes, Jesse plans to ride.
